Irma Pauline Scrivner, St. Charles

Funeral services for Irma Pauline Scrivner, 69, who died September 30 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, were held Tues. Oct 2 at St. Charles Parish Church in St. Charles. Rev. Tom Webster officiated and burial was at St. Charles Cemetery.

Irma, born November 26, 1920, was the daughter of Lester and Mabel Allen Smith. She was married to Guy Burton Scrivner March 1, 1941.

Irma was a housewife, a member of Rolling Wheels Camper Club, Bevington Camper Club and St. Charles Parish Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, a granddaughter, and two brothers.

Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Adkins and husband Jack of West Des Moines; Becky Cole and husband John of Edgewood, Md.; and Martha White and husband Dennis of Osceola; three sons, Bill Scrivner and wife Evelyn of Lincoln, Neb., Jim Scrivner, Des Moines and Jerry Scrivner and wife Tressa of Peru.

Also surviving are two sisters, Esther Read of Winterset and Mrs. Duane (Edna) Honnold of Lorimor; one brother, James "Cap" Smith of St. Charles; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
