Ruby T. Wilson, Winterset

Graveside services for Ruby T. Wilson, 85, Winterset, who died Nov. 26 at the Care Center South where she resided, were held Saturday, Nov. 28, at the Moon Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Ferguson officiating.

Born in Macksburg on Oct. 4, 1902, she was the daughter of Joseph and Jessie Sherman Pinckney. On Oct. 9, 1920, she was married to Ersie L. Wilson near Macksburg.

Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker, a former rural school teacher and 4-H leader. She was a member of the Friends Church of Earlham and lived in Winterset the past six and a half years, coming from Lorimor.

Survivors include daughters, Ruth Black of Des Moines and Lois Marchant of Wrightwood, Calif.; a brother, Henry Pinckney of Ackworth; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, an infant son, a brother and a sister.
