JENNIE WILSON DIED WEDNESDAY

Life-Long Resident of This County Was 80 Years Of Age

Mrs. Jennie M. Wilson of Winterset, a life-time resident of Madison county, died Wednesday, January 10, at Memorial hospital here. She was 86 years of age.

Mrs. Wilson was the former Jennie Vanderburg, daughter of Martin V. and Melvina Reeves Vanderburg. She was born on a farm near Winterset June 25, 1881, and lived for 60 years on the same farm.

She was married Oct. 15, 1902 to Ray R. Wilson. They moved to Winterset in 1944. His death occurred in 1958.

She was a member of the Oak Grove E.U.B. church, and was active in the Ladies' Aid there.

Surviving are three children, Mrs. Lois Hoeness of Winterset, Paul Wilson and Donald Wilson of Branson, Mo. She also leaves five grandchildren and five great grand-children.

Funeral services were held Friday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Charles Updike, pastor of the Winterset Foursquare church. Burial was made in Winterset cemetery.
