Page 1DEATH OF LIZZIE HARRIS
Becomes Insane and Dies When Returning from Baisin, Wyoming.
Miss Lizzie, the youngest daughter of Henry Harris of this city, died last evening at Dewey, South Dakota while on her way home from Baisin, Wyoming. Miss Harris had been in ill health for several years past and at times her mind was affected. Hoping that a change of climate and surroundings might prove beneficial to her health, she accompanied Mrs. Alfred Danforth and Mrs. Foster on their return to Wyoming. Soon after arriving there she became insane and Dr. W. H. Thompson was sent for. Last evening the family received a telegram from Dr. Thompson stating that Miss Harris had died as above stated.
The arrival of the body is not looked for before Friday. The community will extend the deepest sympathy to the bereaved father and sister, Mrs. Flora Harris, who is an instructor in the Des Moines Baptist college.
