EARLHAM-A funeral for Lena May Glascock, 89, of Earlham was held Nov. 12, 1994 at the First Presbyterian Church in Earlham with burial at Norwalk Cemetery. Mrs. Glascock died of a heart ailment Nov. 9 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
The daughter of James and Nancy (Smith) Watson, she was born Feb. 10, 1905 on a farm near Norwalk. She married Theodore Glascock June 5, 1927. the first years of their married life were spent at Norwalk. Then the family moved to a farm near Osceola where they lived until Theodore’s death in 1983. Shortly after his death, she moved to Earlham to be near her daughter.
Mrs. Glascock was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Nancy Rectenbaugh; five brothers, three sisters and a half-brother.
She is survived by two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
