Mrs. Richard Wilson, Iowa City

Loretta Wilson, 60, of Iowa City died Wednesday, Nov. 2 at University Hospitals following a long illness.

Born August 19, 1923 in Parnell, Iowa she was married to Richard Wilson on July 11, 1953, in Iowa City.

Mrs. Wilson had been a bookkeeper for the Daily Iowan, the University of Iowa Student Newspaper.

She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. Survivors include her husband, Richard, a native of Winterset and now of 705 Giblin Drive, Iowa City, three sons; Thomas, of Greeley, Colo., James and Mike of Iowa City. Two daughters: Mrs. Kay Stokes and Mary E. Wilson both of Iowa City. Three grandchildren. Three sisters: Regina Parizek of Iowa City, Reta Lekin of Iowa City and Helen Sawyer of Valparaiso, Ind.

Funeral Mass was held Saturday, November 5 in Iowa City at St. Patricks church. Burial was in Iowa City.
