Ralph O. Hendricks, 69, of Winterset died from a heart attack May 28, 1998, at Des Moines General Hospital.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 30, at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with Pastor David Elmore officiating. Burial was at North McDonald Cemetery in Madison County.
Ralph Hendricks was born in Madison County Dec. 30, 1928, to Oliver Erdley and Blanche Laona (Myers) Hendricks. A lifetime resident of Madison County, he was a laborer. Ralph also was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
He is survived by four sisters, Ethel Haines and Margaret Jones, both of Winterset, Laona Goater of Nevis, Minn., and Wilda Phillips of Fertile.
