Edith Dippold, rural Booneville

Services for Edith Dippold, 81, rural Booneville, who died April 8 at the Winterset Care Center North, were held Thursday, April 11 at the Trinity Lutheran Church near Van Meter. Burial was at the Trinity Cemetery.

Born at Cumming Feb. 5, 1904, she was the daughter of John and Eldora Roach. On Aug. 25, 1927, in Des Moines, she was married to William Dippold.

Mrs. Dippold was a homemaker and lived in the Booneville area all her life. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Booneville American Legion Auxiliary and the Lee township Farm Bureau Ladies.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Beverly Forret of Booneville, a son, Bill of Booneville; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a grandchild, five brothers and three sisters.
