EUGENE McCLELLAND, Winterset

Eugene McClelland, 79, of Winterset, died Dec. 20, 1995 at the Northcrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tenn. Funeral services were Dec. 26 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Van Meter. The Rev. Kenneth Belz officiated the services and burial was at the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.

He was born in Fairfield Jan. 5, 1916 to Frank and Ada (Richardson) McClelland. He married Alma M. Rehbein in September of 1939 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Van Meter where he was a member.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Surviving relatives include one son, Gary E. McClelland of Cedar Hill, Tenn.; one daughter, Barbara M. Porter of Joplin, Mo.; one brother, Marion McClelland of Mesa, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.
