Beverly Forret, Van Meter

Funeral services for Beverly June Forret, 63, were held April 28 at Trinity Lutheran Church near Van Meter, with the Rev. Kenneth Belz officiating. Mrs. Forret died April 25, 1993, at Madison County Memorial Hospital. Burial was at Booneville Cemetery.

She wa born September 5, 1929, in Madison County to William and Edith (Roach) Dippold, She married Glenn Forret June 22, 1947, at Van Meter. A homemaker, she was a lifetime resident of the Booneville and Van Meter area. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Booneville, the Farm Bureau, the Martha and Mary Society at Trinity Lutheran, and served as a 4-H leader.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and an infant daughter.

Surviving relatives include five daughters, Vicki Russell of Osceola, Shirley Lyons, Eileen Brown, Debra Jones and Jean Johnson, all of Van Meter; one brother, Bill Dippold of Booneville; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and one setp-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
