Henry Andrew Dippold was born at Des Moines, Iowa, June 24, 1894 the son of Fred and Anna Endres Dippold. He passed away August 14, 1977 at Northwest Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was baptized in the Lutheran Church as a baby and joined Trinity Lutheran Church at Van Meter in 1946. He was united in marriage to Helen Marjorie Shera, daughter of Henry and Mary Jane Shera on June 11, 1930.
He is survived by his wife, Helen, a son, Harlan of Urbandale, a daughter, Marjorie Cooper of Woodburn, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He leaves two sister, Mrs. Emma Barnes of Runnels, Elizabeth Lane of Oakland, California, and one brother, Bill Dippold of Booneville, Iowa
He was preceded in death by his parents, two parents, John and Fritz, two sisters, Lena Palmer and Mary Shea. A baby daughter, Shirley Ann died in infancy.
He spent most of his life in Madison County farming near Booneville, Iowa, except a brief period at Lovilla, Iowa.
Funeral services were held last Wednesday at Mr. Olive Lutheran Church with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
