ALMA McCLELLAND, Dies At 52 Years

Mrs. Eugene P. McClelland of Union township died last Friday, Sept. 6, 1968, at a Des Moines hospital. She was 52 years of age, and had been in failing health about six months.

Mrs. McClelland was the former Alma Marie Rehbein, daughter of Henry and Laura Eichner Rehbein. She was born near Waukee March 4, 1916. She was married Sept. 16, 1939, to Eugene P. McClelland at Trinity Lutheran church. Except for two years in Dallas county and two years in Washington county, their married life was spent on the farm in Madison County.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, in which she was active in the Ladies Aid.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Gary, who is a student at Iowa State university in Ames; a daughter, Barbara, at home; her father; three brothers, George Rehbein of Waukee, Herbert Rehbein of Van Meter and Larry Rehbein of Waukee; and three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Erickson of Des Moines, Mrs. Frieda Jensen of Van Meter, and Mrs. Irene Koch of Van Meter.

Funeral services were held Monday from Trinity Lutheran church.

Services Held For Mrs. McClelland

Funeral services were held Sept. 9 from Trinity Lutheran church in Jefferson township for Mrs. Eugene P. McClelland whose death had occurred Sept. 6.

The Rev. E. A. Breiholz, pastor of the church conducted the services. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mrs. McClelland is survived by her husband, her father, Henry Rehbein of Waukee, a son, Gary McClelland, a student at Iowa State university in Ames, a daughter, Barbara, at home, three brothers, Geo. and Larry Rehbein of Waukee, Herbert Rehbein of Van Meter and three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Erickson of Des Moines, Mrs. Frieda Jensen of Van Meter, and Mrs. Irene Koch of Van Meter.
