Services for Fred H. Gonseth, 75, Earlham, who died of a heart attack Saturday, Jan. 5 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, were held Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 8 at the Earlham Church of Christ. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
Mr. Gonseth was a retired farmer who lived in the Earlham area since 1923.
On June 9, 1930 he married to Grace May Murray of Neosho. Mo.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Mary Frey of Earlham, Margaret Henkle of Hamburg and Freda Brittain of Winterset; a brother, Charles of Earlham; a sister, Emma Binns of Winterset; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
