Duane E. Evans, 65, of Earlham died of a heart ailment Jan. 31, 1994 in his home. Graveside services were Mon., Feb. 7, 1994 at Graceland Center Cemetery in Webster City. Arrangements are being handled by Dunn's Funeral Home in Des Moines.
He was born in Des Moines and lived in Peru, Mo., before moving to Earlham three years ago. He was a retired research engineer and a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving relatives include his mother, Mable Evans of Des Moines and one son, Charles of Portland, Oregon.
