MERILYN L. DANELEY, Patterson

Merilyn L. Danley, 71, of Patterson died Oct. 6, 2005, at his home.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset with Pastor Scott O’Conner officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Jefferson-Goar Cemetery, Jefferson Township, Madison County.

Merilyn Danley was born May 6, 1934, in Des Moines to Homer and Evelyn (Clements) Danley. He was married to Florence Blauer and later Rose Ellen Reimann, who both preceded him in death. Merilyn was employed as a truck driver for the Madison County Road Department for many years.

He was preceded in death by both wives and a stepdaughter, Nona Jill Rudolf.

He is survived by five stepsons, Loren Ray Little of Dallas, Texas, Zachery Johnathan Berch of Ashby, Neb., James Brian Berch of Truro, and John Herman Berch and Randall William Berch, both of Peru; a sister, Carolyn Ham of Winterset; and nine stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
