Margaret E. Jackson Hoffman, 87, of Winterset, died April 27, 1994 at the Care Center South in Winterset. Funeral services were held May 2, 1994 at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Frank officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

She was born August 2, 1906 in Perry to Clarence and Della Mae (Leonard) Durnell.

She married Loran Jackson Aug. 19, 1929 in Des Moines. After his death, she married Dale Hoffman October 27, 1962 in Winterset. She was the owner of Jackson Electric in Winterset and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Loran Jackson.

Surviving relatives include husband, Dale Hoffman of Winterset; three daughters, Suzanne Maxson and husband Lowell of Coldwater, Mich., Lorean Hall and husband Rodney of Cleveland, Minn., and Marla Nelson and husband Thomas of Minnetonka, Minn.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
