An eleven year old son of Mr. Sidney Robinson, of Grand River township was killed last Sunday morning about ten o'clock. He started to a well, some distance from the house, leading a colt, and after arriving at the well it is supposed he threw the halter strap over his shoulder and by some means got it fast around his neck. The colt started running-dragging the boy by the neck in which way he was killed. The colt broke the strap finally, and then ran to the house, the folks immediately went in search of the boy and found him lying on his face with his boots torn off and his clothing in shreds; the remnant of the halter strap in a tight knot about his neck and he entirely dead. This is a sad blow to the family, who are respected by every one and who have the sympathy of all for the untimely death of their son.
