EARLHAM-A memorial service for Lester G. Boyle, 72, of Earlham was held July 16, 1994 at Penn Center United Methodist Church at rural Earlham, with interment of the cremated remains following at Penn Center Cemetery. Mr. boyle died of a heart attack on July 13 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital at Des Moines.
The son of Cord and Cora Boyle, he was born in Penn Township on May 19, 1922.
He married Mary E. Fry on feb. 13, 1944 and spent his entire life on the farm.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of Earlham; one daughter, Charlotte Walker of Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, Nick Boyle of Earlham; two sisters, Mable Gilman and Mildred Willison, both of Earlham; one brother, Dale Boyle of Earlham; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
