Died, on March 2d, at Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. Rowena B. Lewis, wife of Charles H. Lewis, of Kasson, Iowa. The ailment which caused her death was pneumonia. She had gone to Phoenix to visit her brother, Joseph D. Robinson, and had been there but a week prior to her death.

She was married at Afton, Iowa, Dec. 27, 1877. Her husband is a farmer and the keeper of a country store in Kasson. He with one son, Clyde, 17 years of age, survive her. The son is a stenographer and a bookkeeper in Des Moines, Iowa.
Both father and son were present at the funeral, which took place at the M. E. church Wednesday, the remains arriving here in the morning. The services were conducted by Rev. Dr. Buckey. The remains were buried in the city cemetery. The deceased will be remembered by many Abingdon people. She was an amiable girl and an excellent wife and mother. She was a member of the M. E. church, and enjoyed the respect of all who knew her. – Abingdon, (Ill.) Argus.
