Lillyan Clague Death Wednesday

A native of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Lillyan Irene Clague, 88, died Wednesday, October 29, 1976, at Madison County Memorial Hospital. She was born January 27, 1888, a resident of Winterset at the time of her death. She lived in Madison Coounty for 27 years.

The daughter of John M. Miller and Louisa Hedrick Miller, Mrs. Clague was married to Edgar Clague on March 9, 1949, in Indianola, Iowa. She was a retired registered nurse, a lifetime member of Rbekah Lodge and was affiliated with the First Christian Church of Winterset.

Survivors include one son, James J. Creek of Indian Springs, Nevada, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Clague was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one daughter.

One of the grandchildren, Jim Creek, now of Indianola, was raised in the home of his grandmother.

Funeral services for Lillyan I. Clague were conducted Monday, November 1, at 10 a.m. from Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, Rev. William L. Dilsaver, officiating. Burial was made at the Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
