BARBARA SCHMITZ, Winterset

Barbara A. Schmitz, 66, of Winterset died March 2, 2006, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, March 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winterset with Father Chris Hartshorn celebrating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, two infant daughters, and a brother, Larry Pederson.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Gary Schmitz of Winterset; three sons, Mark Schmitz, Dean Schmitz and Rich Schmitz; and six grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
