Kenneth W. Farlow, 66, of Spring Hill, Fla., died Feb. 20, 2006, of a massive heart attack.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 24, at Grace Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Hudson, Florida.
Kenneth Farlow was born Feb. 21, 1939, in Winterset to Myers and Eleanore (Daggett) Farlow and was a 1957 graduate of Johnston High School. In early 1958, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served for 10 years. On Nov. 8, 1958, he was united in marriage to Dora Kate Robinette at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua. Kenneth worked at the experimental farm for John Deere in Cedar Falls, for A.T.&T. in Des Moines and McDonal Douglas in St. Louis, Mo. He later branched into management for Digital Equipment Corporation in St. Louis from 1978 until his retirement in 1989. In 1995, he and his wife moved to Spring Hill. Kenneth was a member of the Hernando County Old Car Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Eldred, Jerry and Randy.
He is survived by his wife, Kate, of Spring Hill, Fla.; one son, Steven Farlow of Bridgeton, Mo.; two daughters, Robin Kemp of Chesterfield, Mo., and Angela Best of Deerfield, Ill.; two sisters, Dayna Decker of Lorimor and Linda Thornburg of Forest Lake, Minn.; and eight grandchildren.
