SHERYL BENTLER, Dexter

Sheryl Mae Bentler, 58, of Dexter died Feb. 22, 2006, in Des Moines.

A Funeral Mass was held Saturday, Feb. 25, at All Saints Catholic Church in Stuart with Fr. Greg Leach officiating. Burial was at Calvaary Cemetery in Stuart.

Sheryl Bentler was born Dec. 31, 1947, in Orange City to Gerald and Annie Mae Calsbeek. A graduate of Northwesern College in Orange City, she was a music teacher at Earlham High School, where she met and married David Bentler.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, David, of Dexter; one daughter, Anna Sakris or Urbandale; three sons, Brian Bentler of Urbandale, Mark Bentler of Earlham and Aaron Bentler of Dexter; her mother, Annie Mae Calsbeek of Orange City; two sisters, Sandra Neff of Des Moines and Rachel Saladis of Wisconsin; and one grandson.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Kuhn Funeral Homes of Dexter, Earlham and Redfield.
