FUNERAL SATURDAY FOR MRS. VICTORA

Well-Known Resident Died Wednesday Morning At Hospital

Mrs. Effie Fetters Victora, 72, died Wednesday morning, July 23, at Madison County Memorial hospital in Winterset. She had entered the hospital June 25 after suffering a stroke.

Funeral services for Mrs. Victora will be held this Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from Richards Funeral home in Winterset.

The daughter of James and Prudy Morris, she was born July 13, 1886 at Cool, Iowa.

For the past 40 years she has been a resident of Madison county, where she has practiced as a Chiropractor. She was a member of Rebekah lodge, Eastern Star, and of the Christian Church in Winterset.

On May 1, 1956, she was married to Fred Victora at Indianola.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Nelsen and grandson Mark Nelsen of Council Bluffs, Ia.; three brothers, Ralph Morris of Indianola, Don Morris of Muscatine, and Floyd Morris of Los Angeles, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Barstow of Davenport, and Mrs. Jack Galvin of Venice, Calif.

Officiating at the services this Saturday will be the Rev. Tom Fogelsong, former Winterset minister now serving the Capitol Hill Christian church in Des Moines. Burial will be in Shaver cemetery southeast of Indianola.
