CHARLES C. CADE, Winterset

Services for Charles C. Cade, 61, Winterset, who died July 18, 1987, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, were held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Tuesday, July 21, with the Rev. Charles Miller officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born Oct. 16, 1925 in Madison County, he was the son of Fred and Elizabeth Backes Cade. He was a truck driver for the Schildberg Construction Co.

On June 4, 1965, he was married in Van Meter to Clella Peterson Rogers. He lived in Madison County all his life and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Survivors include is wife; a son, John Rogers of Cheyenne, Wyo.; a daughter, Olgabelle Trunce of Plattsmouth, Neb.; a brother, Harold of DeSoto; sisters, Edna Waltz of Sun City West, Ariz., and Gladys Jensen of Winterset; and a brother-in-law, Rex Wiegand of Sun City, West, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
