DONAHUE LOGAN DIES IN VIRGINIA

Stroke Fatal to Former Winterset Resident at Age of 46 Years

Donahue Logan, former Winterset jeweler, died suddenly last Wednesday, Jan. 15, while at work in Norfolk, Va., where he had been employed in recent years. He was 46 years of age. Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage.

Mr. Logan was born and spent his early life in Winterset. During World War II he left here to serve in the U. S. navy. For the last 15 years he had been a civilian employee of the navy at Norfolk.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Kathryn Rose; a son, David Marshall; his mother, Mrs. Ethel Bush of Winterset; his father, Ernest Logan of Winterset; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Lake of Orient and Dorothy Rogers of Omaha; a brother, Cleo Logan of Winterset; and a half sister, Mrs. Faye Woodring, now of Spain.

Funeral services were held last Friday in Norfolk, with burial in Forest Lawn cemetery there.
