Frank Albert Fogler, 86, of Atchison, Kan., died Feb. 27, 2006, at the Medicalodge of Atchison. Memorial services were held Saturday, March 4, at the First Baptist Church in Atchison. Private inurnment was a Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph, Mo.
Frank Fogler was born Feb. 2, 1920, to Guy E. and Fern (Frey) Fogler of rural Patterson. He was a 1937 graduate of Patterson High School and a photographer for Woltz Studio in Des Moines before enlisting in the 124th Iowa National Guard Air Squadron. He served four years in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Frank and his wife owned Fogler Studio of Photography in Atchison, Kan., from 1946 to 1984. In 1968, he served as president of the Kansas Professional Photographers.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Dede, of Atchison, Kan.; one son, Robert E. Fogler of St. Joseph, Mo.; and one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
