Lyle Neidt Killed By Tractor

Lyle Neidt, who (can’t read) the line in Union county, was killed by his tractor, Tuesday, April 3. Mr. Neidt was plowing with his Fordson tractor and it seems that when in the act of turning around, he was thrown from the tractor and pinned beneath the rear axle. A neighbor lady, Mrs. Joe Kirk, hearing the tractor running, called her husband’s attention to it, when he came to dinner. He preceded to find what was wrong, and he found the deceased pinned beneath the rear axle of the tractor with the engine still running and the tractor in reverse gear, one wheel being raised from the ground, allowing the motor to run without moving the tractor. Mrs. Neidt was at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Flarhady, who reside near Murray, with a two year old son, and a baby daughter, a week old. Funeral services were held at the Flarhady home, Friday, April 6, and burial was in the East Union cemetery.
