HOMER FREY Died Sunday

Homer A. Frey, a well-known Madison County farmer, died Sunday, December 3, 1972, at his home in Scott Township. He was 78 years of age.

Mr. Frey was a native of Story County where he was born near Ames on June 18, 1894, a son of Albert W. and Luella Ulum Frey. He had lived in Madison Couny since 1910.

He was married to Florence Grewell on March 3, 1917 at the home of Mrs. Jessie Stout in Scott Township.

As a boy he had been a member of the Patterson Methodist Church.

Mr. Frey is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Welty of Tipton; a son, Albert Frey of near Winterset; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Fern Fogleer of Winterset; and five brothers, Arthur Frey of Libertyville, Illinois, Lester Frey of Orange, California, Earl Frey of Winterset, Harold Frey of Pleasantville, and Glen Frey of Cedar Rapids; in addition to nieces and nephews. A sister, Helen Vannatta, and an infant brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday from the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset conducted by the Rev. William Andre of St. Charles. Burial was to be made in the Winterset Cemetery.
