John Breen Dies

John Breen, who was 92 of age, died at the Bishop Drum home in Des Moines, Saturday night, May 6th. Mr. Breen was a native of Madison county, being raised in Lee township. Following his marriage he and his wife farmed near Cumming, for a number of years.

He had been in poor health and had resided at the Bishop Drum home for five years. He leaves in addition to his 5 children, and a number of grandchildren, two sisters, who reside in San Francisco, Calif.

Rosary services for Mr. Breen were held at the Caldwell-Breen funeral home in Des Moines, Monday night, and the funeral services were held at St. Teresa's church, Tuesday morning, followed by burial in St. Patrick's cemetery.
