Clella Cade, 72, of Winterset, died June 12, 1995, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center of a heart attack. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., June 16 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Winterset. Burial will be at the Winterset Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 27, 1923, in Madison County to Clarence E. and Olga (Berry) Peterson. She married John R. Rogers in Winterset on November 23, 1947. He preceded her in death. On June 4, 1965, she married Charles C. Cade.
She was a lifelong resident of Winterset. She was a retired cook with the Winterset Community School system, a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, TOPS, Democratic Women, Jolly Dozen Bridge Club and the VFW Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; one sister; and one brother.
Surviving relatives include a daughter, Olga Belle Trunce and husband Kerry (Tex) of Nine Mile Falls, Wash.; a son, John of Hopewell, Virg.; one brother, Clark Peterson of Winterset; one sister, Clara Post of Des Moines, five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
