Funeral Services were held this Tuesday afternoon for Laura M. Abrahams, a lifetime resident of Madison County. Miss Abrahams died at the Villa West Nursing Home here on Sunday, May 11, 1975, at the age of 83.
Laura Mae Abrahams was born September 16, 1891 in Douglas Township, the daughter of James and Clara Sargent Abrahams. She was employed as a school teacher in her earlier years.
Survivors include one brother, Leonard Abrahams of Winterset. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William B. Abrahams and Walter L. Abrahams.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, with John Safford officiating. Burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.
