MARJORIE R. FREY, Winterset

Marjorie Ruth Frey, 89, died of a respiratory ailment Dec. 1, 1999, at Winterset Care Center South. There will be no service, as the body has been donated to science.

Marjorie Frey was born Aug. 8, 1910, to Charles and Mary Orpha (Webster) Frey of Winterset. She received her bachelor of music education degree from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kan., and did graduate study at the American Conservatory in Chicago, Ill. Having spent most of her lifetime in Winterset, Marjorie was a retired office and music staff employee. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship International, a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Pythian Sisters, Mu Phi Epsilon Music Fraternity, American Association of University Women, Emporia State University Aumni Association, Iowa Travel Club and the First United Methodist Church in Winterset.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by several cousins.

Arrangements were handled by Collins Funeral Home in Winterset.
