Harry B. Watts, 82, Clearwater, Fla., died of a heart attack on Sept. 28, 1996 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. Memorial services were held in Clearwater. Burial will be held at the Winterset Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive visitors at the Corkrean residence on Sat. Oct. 5, from 4-6 p.m.
He was born on Dec. 19, 1913 in Hiteman to Ernest and Myrtle Watts. On Nov. 2, 1938 he married Helen M. Hargin in Grinnell.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and one brother.
Surviving relatives include one son, Larry Watts and wife Laura of Winterset; one daughter, Nancy Corkrean and husband Patrick of Winterset; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Lillard-Miller Scholarship.
