Anna L. Moore, daughter of Benjamin and Margaret N. Moore, was born April 6, 186- in Washington county, Pennsylvania and died at her home (unreadable line), May 10, 1912. She came with her parents to this county in 1867. She was married to Jesse Call, Oct. 30, 1884. To this union were born three sons, one dying in infancy. She leaves to mourn her loss, a kind and loving husband, two sons, Walter E. of Des Moines and John Benjamin, still at home. One brother, John R. Moore of Nelson, Nebr., two sisters, Mrs. Ella Gentry of Winterset and Mrs. Lela Garst of Peru, one granddaughter, Opal Call of Winterset.

During her long sickness, she suffered severely, but she bore it (unreadable). She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed in the home and the neighborhood. She was always ready with a kind word and willing hand to help any one in need. All that loving hands could do was done for her during her sickness. God’s ways are not as our ways, but some time we will understand.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Church of Christ in Winterset, conducted by Rev. A. A. Walburn of the M.E. church and interment was made in the Rock City cemetery.
