Page 8Bernice, the bright young daughter, aged one year and a few weeks, of F. F. and Mrs. Mamie Snider of this city, died at 5 o'clock on Tuesday morning after a pronounced illness of but a few days. This cherub was and endearment to parents, relatives and friends. But death loves a shining mark. Interment occurred at the Churchville cemetery on Wednesday.

Died, on the morning of November 9, Bernice, the only and cherished little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Snyder. Again the “grim reaper” has garnered another pearl from loving hands on earth, but only for the purpose of transplanting it in the celestial fields above. We know the rending of the human heart when those we love take their flight upwards to the realms of eternal sunshine. “When the good stand in immortal bloom, in the fair gardens of that second birth, and each bright blossom mingles its perfume with that of flowers which never bloom on earth.” The bereaved parents have the sympathy of all our people in this, their hour of trial.
