John Sulgrove, of Douglas township, died last Tuesday. About a year ago he became insane and was sent to the asylum. There his condition gradually became worse and bodily disease followed mental, and a few weeks ago his father brought him home where he remained till his death.

Mr. Sulgrove was a highly esteemed and prosperous young man and his affliction and sad untimely death bill call for the sympathy of friends and neighbors towards his parents and other relations.

Died September 1, John M., second son of Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Sulgrove, aged 33 yr, 7 months and 20 days.

This young man has been a great sufferer since his return from Clarinda about seven weeks ago. Everything was done that was possible but it was of no avail. He slowly but surely weakened day by day until September 1. He peacefully passed away surrounded by parents, brothers and sisters.

On the following day the remains were conveyed to Worthington cemetery and laid to rest.
