Wilma Henrichs, Winterset

Wilma Henrichs, 77, of Winterset died January 17, 1994 at the St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri. Funeral services were held at Collins Funeral Home January 22, 1994 with the Rev.Donald Frank officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

She was born February 8, 1916 in Madison County to Thomas Melvin and Cora Bell (Husted) Allen. She married Walter Henrichs in November of 1937 in Des Moines.

She was a lifetime resident of Madison County and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary; American Contract Bridge Association; and the Jolly Dozen Bridge Group. She was a retired hairdresser.

She was preceded in death by her husband; five brothers, four sisters; and one grandson.

Surviving relatives include three daughters, Barbara Newman and husband Wade of Springfield, Mo., Joyce Parker and husband Larry of Schoolcraft, Mich., Brenda Mapes and husband Gean of Winterset; one step-son, Walter Henrichs of San Agelo, Texas; one step-daughter, Anna Mae VanVickle of Minneapolis, Minn., nine grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Madison County Historical Society or the American Heart Association.
