A. P. HENRY, FORMER SUPERINTENDENT DIES

A. Paul Henry, former Winterset superintendent of schools, died last Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Nevada, following a heart attack. He was 65 years of age.

Mr. Henry came to Winterset in 1927 as high school principal. In July 1929, he was appointed superintendent of the Winterset schools serving in that capacity for nine years, until 1938. From Winterset, he went to the Des Moines school system where he taught for five years, before retiring and moving to his farm at Colo. He farmed for several years, but recently had been serving as principal of the elementary school at Colo.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Harrison and Dean Henry; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Methodist church at Colo.
