MRS CORA MCADOW DIES

Mrs. Cora May McAdow died at her home near Peru, Sunday, September 9, after a brief illness. She was 59 years old.

Mrs. McAdow was born Cora May Pooler in Winterset, on April 10, 1878. She was the daughter of W. E. and Rosey Jane Pooler, and lived in this community until 16 years of age, when she moved with her parents to Morrison, Oklahoma.

On May 30, 1902, she married Clide F. McAdow. They were the parents of five children. In 1910 they returned to Madison county where they since have lived.

At the age of 14 Mrs. Mcadow had united with the Church of Christ, where her membership always remained.

Survivors of the deceased are her husband, and four children, Joseph H. McAdow of Lorimor, Floyd W. McAdow of Peru, Mrs. Fern Black of Winterset and Harry V. McAdow at home.

Funeral services were held from the Tidrick Funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. under the direction of the Rev. H. L. Olmstead of the Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Oak Grove cemetery. Pall-bearers were her three sons, Joseph, Floyd and Harry McAdow; a son-in-law, Maurice Black, and two nephews, Donald and Harold Brown.
