Faye Emerson, Winterset

Services for Faye Emerson, 87, a lifetime resident of Winterset who died April at the Care Center North, were held today (Wednesday) April 27 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. John R. Rhoades officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Madison County Oct. 21, 1895, she was the daughter of Bert and Mary Havlovitz Robinson. She married Loyal W. Emerson, July 7, 1917 at LaCross, Kan.

Survivors include sons, Harold and Clarence of Winterset and Robert of Des Moines; daughters, Donna Duff of Des Moines, Evelyn Sliker of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Wanda Trease of Newton; brothers, Gail, Ralph, Raymond and Dean all of Winterset; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and a sister.
