A memorial service for George T. Williams, 95, of Patterson, N.Y., will be held tomorrow (Thursday) at 10 a.m. at the Winterset Cemetery with Pastor Terry Kerr officiating. Mr. Williams died May 27, 1994 at Putnam Hospital Center in New York.
George Williams was born Oct. 15, 1898 in DeSoto to John and Ethel (Anderson) Williams. On Sept. 5, 1923 he married Esther N. Curtis in Winterset.
He was a retired chemical engineer with Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric in Davenport and a member of the Roosevelt Masosnic Lodge and the Davenport Lions Club, both in Davenport.
