Jerry Hawker, Winterset

Jerry Dale Hawker, 65, of Winterset died December 6, 1999 of cancer at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Graveside services were held December 9 at Greenfield Cemetery in Greenfield. The Pastor Terry Kerr officiated the services.

He was born June 25, 1934 in Creston to Robert and Margaret (Fuller) Hawker. He married Wanda Phillips on July 28, 1957 in Greenfield. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by Bob Post Chrysler before his retirement and had been a resident of Winterset for one and a half years coming from Bossier, LA. He was a member of Faith Temple Assembly of God in Bossier City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving relatives include his wife; one son, Danny of Alton, La; one daughter, Eva Marie Hawker of Winterset; one sister Barbara Weatherman of California and one grandchild.
