Lucille V. Alexander, 95, died Dec. 7, 2002, of multiple systems failure at Madison Square Assisted Living in Winterset.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today, Dec. ll at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset with the Rev. Dr. George Mullins officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
Lucille Alexander was born Jan. 14, 1907, in Winterset to Clarence and Nora (Walters) Clark. On Nov. 21, 1925, she married Raymond Alexander at the Christian Church parsonage in Winterset. A lifelong area resident, Lucille was a homemaker and member of the First Christian Church in Winterset, Iris Club, Tops and two card clubs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Eugene Alexander; two daughters, Delores Alexander and Ann (Alexander) Young; and three sisters, Cecil Barber, Maine Evans and Agnes Brooker.
She is survived by three sons, Donald Alexander (wife Louise) of Westminister, Colo, Eddie Alexander of Montrose, Colo., and John Alexander (wife Sherrie) of Centennial, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
