Funeral services for Everett Mobley of 404 West Filmore in Winterset, will be held this Thursday, Dec. 14, at 1:30 p.m. from Collins Funeral Home.
Mr. Mobley died Dec 11 at Madison County Memorial hospital. He was 76 years of age.
A son of Charles and Leona Porter Mobley, he was born Jan. 20, 1902 in Adair county, Iowa. He was married to Elva Jordan on Dec. 27, 1922 at Creston, Iowa.
Mr. Mobley farmed for a number of years in the Loirimor-Macksburg area, retiring in 1968. He moved to Winterset in 1975.
He was a member of the Methodist Church and the Macksburg I.O.O.F. lodge.
He is survived by his wife, a son, Earl Mobley of Sioux City, Iowa; and two grandchildren.
Officiating at the funeral this Thursday will be the Rev. Byron Ayers. Burial will be in the Winterset cemetery.
