Services for Verna W. Klein, 83, Winterset, who died April 26,1987, at the Madison County Memorial Hospital, were held Tuesday, April 28, at the Patterson United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clarence Lautt officiating. Burial was at the Montpelier Cemetery.
Born in Eagle Grove on Sept. 3, 1903, she was the daughter of J. Irvin and Jennie Stevens Wildin. She was a homemaker, a resident of Madison County since 1958, a member of the Patterson United Methodist Church and the UMW.
On Feb. 10, 1983, she was married to Eugene Kile in Phoenix, Arizona.
He survives along with brothers, Ed, Lew and Darrel, all of Patterson, and Clarence of St. Charles; sisters, Irma Harpole of Patterson, Zelda Buck of Glendale, Calif., Gertrude Hudson of Winterset and Phyllis Pace of Patterson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Klein in 1981, and her parents.
