Dale Huglin, Truro

Dale Huglin, 88, of Truro died of complications of a stroke Oct. 24, 2001, at the Osceola Nursing & Rehab Center.

Graveside services were held Friday Oct. 26, at Young Cemetery near Truro with the Rev. Jim Patrick officiating.

Dale Huglin was born Oct. 17, 1913 to Fred and Leota Mabel (Simpson) Huglin of rural St. Charles. He attended country schools in Wick until the age of 7. He then attended school inSt. Charles, graduating in 1933. On June 1938, he married Nola Muselman in Bethany, Mo. Dale, a farmer, was a lifetime resident of the Truro/St. Charles area. He also had driven a truck for his son for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and an infant grandson.

He is survived by his wife, Nola, of Truro; a son, Billie Dean Huglin (wife Carole) of Truro; a granddaughter; four step-grandchildren; 10 step great-grandchildren; and a step-great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were handled by Kale Funeral Homes of Osceola and Truro.
