SYLVIA GENTRY DIED ON TUESDAY

Funeral Services to Be Held Friday for Life-Long Resident

Sylvia E. Gentry, member of a pioneer Madison county family died at a Winterset nursing home Tuesday, June 1, at the age of 84 years.

Miss Gentry was a life-long resident of the Winterset community. She was a daughter of William W. and Eleanor Atchison Gentry. She never married, and was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Only surviving near relative is a sister, Mrs. Minnie Stickler of Palo Alto, California.

She was a member of the First Christian church of Winterset in which she was active over a long period of years.

Funeral services will be held this Frisday from the First Christian church here, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. William E. Bowles. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
