Beverly Miller, Winterset

Beverly Miller, 68, of rural Winterset died June 23, 2000, from complications of cancer at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 26, at the First United Methodist Church in Winterset. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

Beverly Miller was born Aug. 10, 1931, in Madison County to Theodore and Dorothy (Green) McCauley. She married Donald D. Miller on July 11, 1959, in Platt City, Mo. She was a beautician for 20 years, owning a shop called Beverly's Beauty Shop. She also was a homemaker and farm wife. Beverly was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winterset, the Good Sam Club, Winterset Bowling League and V. F. W. Auxiliary. She also had been a 4-H and Cub Scout leader.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and three brothers.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Marsha Parton (husband Cody) of Delmar and Audrey Jennings (husband Bill) of Van Meter; a son Michael Miller (wife Darla) of Earlham; three sisters, Doris Pickens of Newport, Ore., Bert Kirkwood of Ankeny and Kay McCauley of Des Moines; five brother, Bob McCauley (wife Sharon) of Peru, Bud McCauley (wife Jeanie) of Adel, Dick McCauley (wife Susie) of Des Moines, Larry McCauley (wife Janice) of Jefferson and John McCauley of Winterset; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
