GUY FORD, Winterset

Services for Guy Ford, 80, Winterset, who died Jan. 3, 1985, at his residence, were held Monday, Jan. 7 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Byron Ayers officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born in Madison County on June 4, 1904, he was the son of Richard and Mary J. Amy Ford. He had retired in 1970 from the county welfare office after working there 34 years.

Mr. Ford had lived in the area most of his life. On Sept. 14, 1937 he married Irma Taylor at Tribune, Kansas.

Survivors include his wife; and a brother, Fred, of Winterset.

Mr. Ford was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
